Product Details

Tuscany is without doubt a wine region that produces some of the most important reds in the World. It is a region full of tradition, but in continuous evolution since the introduction of international grape varietals and the use of the French barrels that became common in the seventies. Beginning in the 80's and through the 90's the new wines, the Super Tuscans, benefited the whole Tuscan region. A tasty introduction to Tuscany's signature wine. A medium-bodied dry red of distinctive regional character, displaying the savoury hallmarks of the areas predominant red grape, Sangiovese.

this red blend is a strange one. mostly sangiovese so its nose is quite appealing. although most people would disagree because they are purists this is the perfect wine for hamburgers or tacos. something greasy needs to go with this. it cuts through all that mess and leaves just a great time.

A classic-style Chianti. Dry, earthy tones with hints of berry and cherry. Goes great with all Italian food!

A good quality Chianti that keeps things interesting. A slight spice to it that does its best to mask the tart cherry and raspberry flavours. A small nutty finish and a presence of metallic notes.

Ruffino is probably one of my favourite chianti's! for the price you're paying, it's probably the best value you can find!

Ruffino Chianti - we love it. Not heavy, perfect for BBQ quaffing or a nice Italian meal. This is our 3rd order & in between we have purchased it in the store.
