Product Details

The Yeastie Boys, Stu McKinlay and Sam Possenniskie, are a Wellington-based brewing duo who have been amongst the leading innovators during the recent rise of craft brewing in New Zealand. They're always ahead of the craft brewing game and if you want to know the recipe for their latest release, the Digital IPA, just scan the QR code and you’ll find it!

A new world India Pale Ale inspired more by our traditional forefathers than the modern pretenders, Digital IPA is defined by its heavy use of late kettle hopping and very restrained use of dry hopping - a technique, in contrast to our peers, that goes a long way to proving Yeastie Boys’ philosophy of ‘fresh is not best’. IPA as it was originally intended.

Was pretty impressed by this one. Really flavoursome IPA, nice malt matched to the hoppyness.

That's an IPA, right? Don't type that down. You can't type that down. You're the worst. Okay write this: Damn. Not bad: That is what an IPA should be all about.

Succulent, lean, like a good t-bone steak. Just like my step-mom used to make... come to think of it, i always wondered where bessie went..

    Light, hoppy ipa.

Wowzer! Wasn't expecting much due to the packaging. But this is pretty nice, nothing sticks out like crazy, and it goes down like one hell of a treat.

im not a huge fan of IPA's but the balance of hops and bitterness is divine

Just love the balance of this one. Bitterness just right and an intriguing hoppiness makes a delicious beer.

Quickly becoming my favourite brew, beautiful hops and well balanced bitterness lead to a crisp finish!

A real smooth, creamy deluxe IPA. Highly recommend.
