I bought this Henninger and Royal Dutch expecting to be spoiled with a great tasting German ( & Dutch ) beer but was extremely disappointed. Terrible tasting beer and the Royal Dutch only slightly better but a bit bland. I don't know why I try these imported beers when there are MUCH BETTER beers in Australia.

Probably one of the best value beers at FC. Full flavour and refreshing German lager that won't break the bank

A good german lager. Great price for 12 litres of beer. Great to take camping.

A German lager at a cheap price. Also more value for money being in the larger cans! A definite winner in my books

$19 for an 8-pack of 500mL cans! A super clean lager, this beer holds true to the Purity Law. The Germans are notorious for delivering products of a high quality, and this beer is no exception!

This is probably the best beer available in Australia at this price point for the amount. Much much better than it's arch-nemesis Oettinger. It just seems to be a better finished beer, as I find Oettinger to be a very "green" or "unripe" brew and really needs quite a lot of ageing to taste close to what Henninger is as is. Also this version is better than the bottle version. Very very easy to quaff straight from the can. One of the few Lagers that taste better out of the can than a glass for some reason.
