White Rabbit Brewery

The brewery that outgrew its home and moved in with a mate.

Home Base: Geelong, Victoria.
Brews: White Rabbit Pale Ale, White Rabbit Dark Ale
The Stats: Moved burrows from Healesville to Geelong in 2013. Now brews alongside Little Creatures in the old wool mill.

The Story:

White Rabbit began its life in the leafy surrounds of Healesville, Victoria. The brewery made use of brew house kit from their friends Little Creatures, who at the time were still based solely in Fremantle, plus two large, open top fermenters.

As their imagination swelled, so too did production. They needed more space to play and grow. Follow the White Rabbit down to Geelong and the tasty brews continue to flow.

The White Rabbit Brewery moved in with its good mate Little Creatures to the old wool mill by the Barwon River in 2013 and hasn’t looked back. Open fermenters lead creative thinking in the brewery.

They play with an intriguing use of ingredients and embrace the weird and wonderful to create ales with unique and complex characters and aromas. Pay a visit to Geelong and you can examine the barrels first hand, peek inside the open fermenters, taste something new and immerse yourself in a place where fermentation comes with a bit of imagination.

White Rabbit’s range of classic, flavoursome ales are fueled by their curiosity. A balance of old-world techniques sprinkled with new world thinking enables them to brew beer that reaches beyond the conventional. Searching high and low for quality ingredients, their ales find the sweet spot between complex flavours and great drinkability.
